Norway - Oslo & Rjukan

We had long weekend so we decided to go to Norway as all flights were perfect. It was bank holiday in UK on Monday so we had shorter week than other ones. We flew with Ryanair ( of course ) and paid for flights like £55 each, which is not bad! Our main mission was to do bungee jump in Rjukan. Rjukan is a small town 2 hours away from Oslo. We arrived on Friday evening and woke up early in the morning on Saturday and went to have a look at the town. We rented a car for Rjukan and in some reason it was cheaper to take 3 days rental than 2 days. We were both driving around Oslo and on Sunday we left early after the delicious breakfast in  our hotel Astor Thon, just off from main street Karl Johan Gaten. 

Trip to Rjukan wasn't so easy, we were depending on our rented TomTom (SatNav) and there was only one road to go to Rjukan, of course... there was this road barrier which didn't go up. There was few other people wondering what is happening and luckily one norwegian guy realized other but longer way, so we started to follow his car and found the way. 

We made it in time to Bungee and I was the first one jumping and my boyfriend was taking video. Then we did vice versa. Can't really describe how awesome it was, but I recommend this to everyone who likes adrenaline or is adrenaline addict!

Deserved vacation

Olipa hyvä reissu! Tuli lennettyä Suomeen Finnairilla Manchesterin terminaali 1:stä Helsinkiin ja siellä nopea vaihto ( huom. juoksuvaihto) Tampereen koneeseen ja sieltä nokka kohti Pirkkalan lentokenttää. Siellä olinkin sitten kello 1 maissa yöllä ja siitä taksilla tyhjään kotiin, porukat Italiassa ja Mikko ties missä kavereitten kanssa. Hehe. Noh menin sitten heti seuraavana päivänä hoitamaan pankki asioita ja näin siinä serkkua. Sitten lähdinkin hakemaan porukoita Pirkkalan lentokentältä kun he tulivat Italian auringosta oltuaan siellä 3 viikkoa, kyllä itellekkin kelpais vähän aurinkoisempi paikka! Nooh.... Suomessa on ollut hieman huono kesä kuulemieni mukaan mutta mulla oli kyllä onni puolella, eli pääsin hyvin biitsillä käymään ja kastettua talviturkki ties kuinka kauan aikaa siitäkin! 

Noh tulihan sitä siinä bailattua myös, mentiin serkun kanssa hieman viihteelle ja se näytti mulle uusia paikkoja mitä en edes tiennyt enään, kun oon ollut jo kauan pois Tampereelta. Tuli siinä parit salmiakkikossu shotit otettua ja karaoket railakkaasti laulaen ja Hesburgerin kautta sit lähettiin juoksemaan ukkosen alla taksitolpalle... Helmi ilta!! :) 

Ja on muuten ihan hemmetin hyvä sovellus toi WhatsUpp - application Iphonessa/android puhelimissa, saa tekstata/lähettää tiedostoja ilmaiseksi, ja näinhän me pidettiin yhteyttä poikakaverin kanssa hyvin :) 

Kaverikin tuli käymään Tampereella kihlattunsa kanssa ja käytiin siinä parit rästissä olevat terassi kaljat otettua. Voi että oli niin mukavaa vaihtaa kuulumiset kavereiden kanssa pitkään aikaan! Ja kyllä sen huomaa, ketkä kaverit haluavat vielä olla yhteydessä ja joita kiinnostaa käymään tuleminen yms. :-) Käytiin porukoitten kanssa siipibaarissa Ylöjärvellä, ja oli maailman parhaimmat kanasiivet!!! Suosittelen!! 

Seuraavan kerran sitten pitäisi mennä joulukuussa Suomeen... täytyy kärkkyä näitä lentohintoja että pääsis mahdollisimman halvalla, mutta ei kuitenkaan enään Ryanairilla ( lattialla nukkumista 8h Stanstedin kentällä en enää IKINÄ tee).!!! 

Mutta mä tästä jatkan omeletin tekoon... oon jo ihan PRO niiden teossa ;)

What a great trip to home! I flew to Finland by Finnair, starting from Manchester Terminal 1 and from there to Helsinki, where super fast change (note. running!) to Tampere flight which headed to Pirkkala airport. I was there around 1am night and I took taxi to empty house as my parents are in Italy on holiday and brother who knows with who friend :D So it was very welcoming return! I'm kidding, my parents were coming next day so I had to pick them up from the airport which is approx. 10min drive from our house. :)  

I saw all my friends and relatives, spent time with family and did some "business" flee market with own clothes and whatever I found from my room... :) 

Went out with my dearest cousin and had that nice salty liquorice vodka shots, yam!! Of course, after having those we had some karaoke time :D Which means it's good I'm not going there for a while, I embarassed myself enough! After that standard Mc'Donalds meal and running to the taxi in stormy rain. What a fun night that was! :) 

Hell of a good idea that WhatsUpp-application in Iphones/android phones, I was in touch with my boyfriend whole week through that, free txts and free image/file transfers. 

Now I'm gonna start to prepare my omelet.... 

FOOD

I have had a very nice weekend, Manchester has surprised me again! Weather turned from Friday +13 C to +22 C. I've just been watching Sex and the City, eating, relaxing, being with my boyfriend, out with his friends, eating... eating.. and eating. I love eating. :D I think inside of me lives a little piggy who wants to eat all the time. I'm in category of lightweight so if I eat whatever it doesn't seem to go anywhere... Oh well, my mum told me that "Wait for it...... :D" so will see in few years! 

We normally go to breakfast place for full English breakfast but this time we decided to made our own, which was soo good and more cheaper as well. 

I went for big grocery shopping to Asda and for clothes shopping to Arndale. 

So in other words.. now it's good time to wait for the payday and save some money for Finland and Norway trip. ;-)
