I have had a very nice weekend, Manchester has surprised me again! Weather turned from Friday +13 C to +22 C. I've just been watching Sex and the City, eating, relaxing, being with my boyfriend, out with his friends, eating... eating.. and eating. I love eating. :D I think inside of me lives a little piggy who wants to eat all the time. I'm in category of lightweight so if I eat whatever it doesn't seem to go anywhere... Oh well, my mum told me that "Wait for it...... :D" so will see in few years! 

We normally go to breakfast place for full English breakfast but this time we decided to made our own, which was soo good and more cheaper as well. 

I went for big grocery shopping to Asda and for clothes shopping to Arndale. 

So in other words.. now it's good time to wait for the payday and save some money for Finland and Norway trip. ;-)

Peak District

Olipas mukava viikonloppu taas poikaystäväni kanssa.  Käytiin yhdessä shoppailemassa lauantaina ja löydettiin mukavaa hintaan parit kengät herralle ja mulle sitten jotain shampoota ja muuta tyttöjen "must" have kosmetiikka tuotteita. Tosiaan lauantaina sitten siinä tehtiin hyvää ruokaa ja juotiin punaviiniä ja katsottiin leffaa. Sain sitten idean sunnuntaille että mitä tehdään... lähetään jos on hyvä sää... huom. me ollaan siirretty tätä niin monen monta kertaa koska täällä Englannissa sataa niin perkeleesti, että ei oikein noi ulkona olevat aktiviteetit jaksa kiinnostaa. Noh, oltiin onnekkaita tänään ja lähettiin siinä sitten full english breakfastin jälkeen junalla Peak Districtille joka on National Park n. 1h päässä Manchesterista. Original pläänihän oli että mennään ja vuokrataan pyörät mutta eihän me mitään pyörä rentalia mistään löydetty :D Meni sitten kävelemiseksi ja kiipeilyksi vuorille. Ihan hyvä reissu meillä oli ja sää suosi vaikka olikin hieman tuulista :)  Mentiin siinä sitten tultua takaisin Piccadilly juna-asemalle syömään ravintolaan ja oli ehkä parhain vege lasagne ikinä mitä oon syöny, poikkis lupas että se tekee sitä mulle joku kerta. Se on niin hyvä kun se aina tsekkaa mitä ravintoloissa on ja testailee ja sit se kokkailee samaa kotona myöhemmin :D Ite kun oon aika kömpelö keittiössä, teen perus safkaa ja aika nopeita ruokia kun en jaksa niin paljoa panostaa...

Vitsit kun viikonloppu menee niin pirun nopeesti... noh seuraavaa viikonloppua odotellessa jo!! :)

I had a nice weekend again with my boyfriend, enjoyed Saturday doing some shopping's and  after that having red wine and good food. Then I had an idea to go to Peak District, we have been talking about that place so many times and we have always postboned the whole thing so many times because of the weather. This time it was a bit windy but sunny day so we went to our local breakfast place, had nice full vegeterian breakfast and headed to Piccadilly train station. Train took us about 1hour to get there which is Ok...  Original plan was to rent cycles but we didn't had any idea where was the rental place. We decided just to go for hiking and went to top of the hill, I had sooo bad shoes with me so it was quite difficult for me to climb top of the hill. Later on when we reached top of the hill and took some pictures, we left back to the train station.  Went for lunch near to Piccadilly Station and there was sooooo goood vegeterian lasagne, I have never had so good veg' lasagna, my boyfriend promised to make some of that for me sometime. I'm so glad he is genious in the kitchen, even though I learn from him then :-) 

Weekend is always too short, goddammit... :-)

Housewarming

We have internet now!

I had a little break to my internet usage as I just moved a flat 2 weeks ago.  We got our internet today, finally! So we had a house warming previous weekend and of course, I’m sick… I have been having some kind of a virus ( high fever, cough, blocked nose)  so whole packet.  I went to doctor on Friday after work and as I assumed doctors in UK are sooo CRAP! “Take some paracetamol and go home” was the answer when I went there trying to get some antibiotics for my throat  pain. In our housewarming people were playing drinking games while I was watching and having my cup of tea with honey and lemon. Oh well, it was nice to meet friends for a while anyway :) 

Living with Anna and Dave has been good, as we already friends and they are really easy going people to live with. I’m having a 2^nd interview soon for Business Development Manager – role and I soooooo hope I will get it as its just 15min walk from my house. International team again which means I would meet new people again J I really enjoy working for international companies as you can meet different people from different part of cities. Fingers crossed! This Saturday my boyfriend cooked some Sicilian food, soooo yammy! We have been browsing hotels and hostels for Oslo trip and everything is very expensive, but hey Norway is most expensive place to visit.. but we don’t go there every weekend anyway and it's worth to visit that such a beautiful place. :) 

3 weeks… and I’ll be sitting in comfy Finnair seats ( for a change from Ryanair) heading back to Tampere for 1week holiday. So looking forward seeing my family and friends!!

We got our Internet finally!!  Geeks are back!!!

Hei taas,

mulla oli pieni breikki tosiaan internetin käyttöön, koska muutettiin tosiaan 2 viikkoa sitten uuteen kämppään. Tänään saatiin vihdoin netti pelaamaan jes! Tosiaan meillä oli viime viikonloppuna tuparit ja totta kai.. mä oon kipeenä… jonkinmoinen virus taas vaihteeks, menin sitten perjantaina töiden jälkeen lääkäriin toiveena saada antibiootti kuurin ja tosiaan sama vastaus niinkun aina täällä menee lääkäriin “ ota paracetamolia” , oikeesti ihan helvetin huono tää terveys systeemi täällä. Suomessa meet lääkäriin niin ne antaa samantien kaiken hoidon mitä haluat… Anyway! Tuparit oli ihan hauskat, vedin siinä ite sitten sitruunaa ja hunajaa teellä ja yskänlääkettä kun muut pelas juomapelejä. Huomenna mulla on toinen haastattelu “Business Development Manager” – rooliin ja toivotaan että nyt lohkee…  tosiaan 15min kävelymatkan päässä mun kotoa. Lauantaina poikakaveri kokkaili mulle sisilialaista ruokaa joka oli todella hyvää J  Ollaan tässä katteltu hostelleja ja hotelleja Oslosta mutta on pirun kallista, mutta mitä voitkaan odottaa kun meet mailman kalleimpaan kaupunkiin euroopassa. Heh.

3 viikon päästä istun mukavissa tuoleissa Finnairissa (ihanaa mennä jollain muulla kun Ryanairilla vaihteeks) menossa kotiin viikoksi näkemään perhettä ja kavereita :)
